Some article submission services will charge you x amount for every article you send out, some will charge yoiu a monthly fee but only let you submit a few every month, and others will charge you a monthly fee and will allow you to send out as many articles a month as you want.

A lot of article submission services will charge you a one time fee for sending x amount of articles out to directories. This can be very expensive (hundreds of dollars) especially if you have a lot of articles you plan on submitting. The better option would be to pay a monthly fee and then be able to submit as many articles as you want.
